So pleased to resume in-person services on September 13, 2020. The narthex looks a bit different and so does the nave with books removed and pews numbered to ensure physical distancing, but in all the important ways, nothing has changed!
One of our favourite annual events, re-scheduled this year because of rain - and modified because of the pandemic. Attendees enjoyed ice cream, sunshine, and an opportunity to visit and re-connect with our parish family. Being able to worship together again can't come soon enough!
Thank you, Jim Tubman, for the photos.
Rev. Kyle gave an inspiring talk to the younger members of the congregation to explain Pentecost. The older members enjoyed it also! It can be found on our YouTube channel.
Holy Cross continues to minister to the needs of the parish and to the community at large.
Congratulations to the Rev. Jerrod McCormack and the Rev. Matthew Perrault on your ordination to the diaconate at Holy Cross.
Becoming a deacon is one of the steps to becoming a priest. God bless you on your journey!
The long awaited day has arrived! The Rt. Rev. Derek Hoskin, Bishop of the Diocese of Calgary, consecrates the addition at Holy Cross.
